Established in Canberra in 1993, Capital Auto Paints was an automotive refinish supplier to the capital city and surrounding areas. In the early 00s, they expanded into industrial and protective coatings and outgrew their original location, moving to their now much larger shop that they have called home for the past 18 years.
Meet the team!
Say hello to owner Chris, manager Samantha, sales manager Dean, and customer service and warehouse operations Arthur!
Owner Chris originally started working for the store in 1994, until he eventually worked his way up purchased the company in 2007, and began trading as an independent store. Samantha began working at the store as a gap year job in 2006 and loved it so much, that she straight up forgot to leave. She’s been managing the place ever since.
Also with the store are Dean and Arthur, who have collectively been with the store for sixteen years.
They began their transition to be a part of the Paint Place family after chatting with the team in Cowra for suggestions on a new POS system and thought ‘hey! We might as well join in on the fun.’
In joining Paint Place, Capital Paint Place now offers a complete range of coatings from auto, light industrial, protective coatings, aviation as well as decorative, architectural and accessories. They supply a wide range of products, including Luxury Paints, Taubmans, Rustoleum, Unipro, FMG, Soudal, Australian Brush ware, ACE Australia, and more.
