Paint Place was officially formed in December of 1987 by four blokes with their own paint stores looking to provide unity and protection for independent paint specialists. From then, 'Your Local Paint Place' was born.

​Our core mission and values haven't changed since then — we're still all about paint and all about independence... and we'll always be your local.​In 2022, Paint Place and Central Purchasing Services joined forces to reignite Paint Place, invigorate the profitability of stores, and ensure a rich and vibrant future for independent paint specialists around Australia.

 

With over 25 locally owned and operated paint stores, Paint Place provides quality paints, coatings, accessories, colour-matching services, and expert advice for DIY enthusiasts, professional painters, and trade customers alike.
